When a content marketing agency contracted me on behalf of The Grandpa Soap Company to create a social media campaign in support of their heritage Pine Tar Soap and One Tree Planted partnership, I knew exactly what to do.

I went into the back yard, where a pine tree had been cut down, which left a tall stump. Then I affixed scavenged branches to it, as well as a shelf—and made the ultimate forest shower stall.

At a certain time of day, the summer sun casts golden light through those trees; I knew that’d be my time to shine. One friend held the hose while I lathered up with Pine Tar Soap; and my bestie Ben Lebovitz brought the vision to life through camera operation.

The creative was spot-on; and the delivery organic. In part due to the campaign’s success, Grandpa Soap Company and One Tree Planted got 30,000 new ones in the ground.
